Earlier this week IoM3, Women in Materials, Minerals & Mining Group (WIM3) held a panel focusing on “International Women breaking the bias” to celebrate International Women’s Day, where Professor Sohini Kar-Narayan joined inspiring speakers from various materials-related disciplines to discuss challenges and opportunities they face within their roles. Prof. Kar-Narayan shared her experiences in moving countries and even disciplines in her journey through academia, highlighting the high-points as well as the trials and tribulations that she encountered along the way.
